A PERSONALIZED SOLUTION TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS!

The best assessment tools are used to determine your training level and skill, which will help us develop a training plan tailored to improve your health and physical condition.

The services are provided by Pierre Hutsebaut, M.Sc., a pro trainer certified by Coaches of Canada and an internationally recognized cycling expert. A trainer of the elite, international cycling, triathlon and running athletes, Pierre Hutsebault knows what you need to improve your performance.

A TAILORED PROGRAM

Extensive research and years of practice have allowed us to develop better training programs that allow cyclists of all levels to improve and weather the cold winter months without having to forego the handlebar too often.

Whatever questions you might have: Where do I start? How hard must I train to lose weight? Should I run faster? Should I work harder on the bike? What is my peak performance heart rate? We have the answers for you!

TESTS & ASSESSMENTS

VO2max direct and lactates assessment

This assessment will identify your strengths and deficiencies in order to develop a training routine for a given objective. The test will also indicate what intensity to use to leverage those qualities that are vital to achieving your objective. We suggest performing the assessment in a laboratory environment (VO2max, lactates) on a treadmill or Computrainer stationary bike. The laboratory environment and equipment provide an ideal environment to recreate the sport that suits you.

Evaluation of pedaling technique

In order to improve the biomechanics of pedaling, we can analyse and measure in real time your technique and peel away its hidden complexity. We use the RacerMate software to improve technique, which is vital to cyclists of all level. Combined to the SpinScan module and our expertise, those resources will help you see the failings that impede your cycling efficiency and take steps to correct them.

Quick Fit assessment

Always within the optic of performance optimization and comfort, we offer counselling on position on the bike. Fine-tuning how you sit on the bike can make a huge difference. People often pay no attention to their position on the bike and they are left to wonder why they don’t feel comfortable on their seat. It’s a simple matter: the bike must be adjusted to your morphology, not the other way around!

CYCLING CLINIC

In addition, continuing the interior training season, we will offer a complete program comprised of 5 exterior clinics given over summer that will help you hone your technical and physical skills on the road. Supervised by a certified trainer, those clinics are marked by friendship and a sharing of experience!
