DESCRIPTION
Joanne graduated from Concordia university with a bachelors in exercise science: clinical exercise physiology. After a volunteer experience with a client who was 20+ years post-stroke, Joanne developed a particular interest in neuroplasticity and stroke rehabilitation. She is currently in the last year of her master’s degree in Rehabilitation science at McGill. Although most of her practice has been in neurorehabilitation, she also has experience with strength and conditioning as well as helping clients with chronic pain or injury.
CERTIFICATION
My 90-year-old grandmother inspires me by not letting her mobility restrictions prevent her from moving as much as possible. She used to make me exercise with her when I was little, and now I help her exercise.

I love any type of training, but my favorites are lifting weights in the gym and yoga.
