An Exceptional Month of February for Club ALLIANCE

The month of February was particularly noteworthy for Club ALLIANCE. With provincial titles, medals, and dominant performances, our athletes demonstrated the depth of their talent and the strength of our development program.

Gold Medal Performances at the Quebec Championships

On February 7 and 8 at the PEPS at Université Laval, our athletes shone at the Quebec U20, Senior, and Masters Championships.

Gabrielle Ménard captured gold and the provincial title in the 3000m race walk with an excellent time of 18:56. Her race was controlled from start to finish, highlighting her determination, discipline, and mental strength.

In the junior category, Zaria Lynn Battershill-Azimyt delivered an impressive double performance: gold in the 800m — earning the title of provincial champion — and bronze in the 400m. Two high-level races that showcase her versatility, speed, and commitment.

An Already Impressive Rising Star

Eleven-year-old Emma Osterman also made her mark this February with an exceptional day of competition. She won the 800m in commanding fashion, crossing the finish line an impressive 60 meters ahead of the second-place athlete.

Just 30 minutes later, she lined up for the 1200m — where she was the only girl entered — competing against boys and claiming another victory. A remarkable display of talent, confidence, and promising potential.
