Imagine sitting face to face with a professional athlete, listening to them share their journey, preparation, struggles, goals, and some unforgettable career stories. Fascinating and inspiring, right? The Centre Multisports now offers a unique and unprecedented opportunity to meet three exceptional athletes who will share their stories, exchange with each other — and with you.
Meet Magali Tisseyre, a world-class triathlete crowned Triathlete of the Year in 2009 by the global specialized press. Also a gifted violinist, she began competing in 2004 and has since mastered the sport: 27 podium finishes in half-Ironman events worldwide, including 18 victories.
Then there's Hugo Houle, a cyclist with the AG2R La Mondiale World Tour team, who just completed his best season ever. He competed in the Giro d’Italia and earned titles as Canadian Champion and Pan American Games Champion in the individual time trial event.
And finally, David Veilleux, former cyclist who made history in 2013 by becoming the first Quebec-born rider to compete in the Tour de France, wearing the colors of Team Europcar.
To top it all off, the evening will be hosted by none other than Dominique Perras, former professional cyclist (1999–2008) and renowned cycling analyst since 2012 on Quebec sports networks RDS and RDS2 alongside Sébastien Boucher. His insightful commentary and in-depth race knowledge make him one of the top sports analysts in the field.
Featuring video highlights of these athletes in action, the conference will take place on November 17 at 7:00 PM at the Centre Multisports, located at 3093 boul. de la Gare in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Starting at 6:30 PM, attendees can meet the athletes and get autographs.
