A dazzling performance by our riders at the Quebec Track Championships!

On March 22 and 23, four representatives of the ALLIANCE-EXPERTISMED club brilliantly defended our colors at the Quebec Track Championships held at the Bromont velodrome. Their commitment, fighting spirit and talent were rewarded with outstanding results.

Nicolas Tardif dominated the cumulative event rankings and was crowned provincial champion, a performance that testifies to his consistency and tactical mastery throughout the competition. Of the seven events on the program, Nicolas took victory in the Keirin and Sprint, as well as second place in the Individual Pursuit and Kilometer.

Justin Demers, equally solid, took third place on the final podium, confirming his place among the provincial elite. In detail, Justin won the Individual Pursuit and Kilometer events and finished second in the Sprint.

Despite limited access to the velodrome - he lives in Gatineau - Julien Bélanger impressed with three podium finishes, demonstrating a remarkable ability to adapt and a keen sense of racing. He finished second in the Tempo and Scratch races and third in the Keirin.

Christophe Massé, for his part, distinguished himself by his tenacity throughout the weekend. Combative in each of his outings, he finished three times at the foot of the podium. It's only a temporary setback for Christophe, whose progress augurs well for the future.

All in all, our riders won four out of ten events and took ten podiums, a result which reflects both the quality of the work accomplished by the athletes and the seriousness of their preparation.

And that's not all! Our four representatives will have the honour of wearing Quebec's colors at the Canadian Track Championships, to be held in Milton from April 4 to 6. Another opportunity to shine on the national stage!
