These young men once stood out with our team, and we continue to follow their progress closely—not only because they’re great athletes who gave us unforgettable moments, but also because they’re genuinely good guys. Let’s take a look at where they are now in their athletic journeys.
Jonathan Hinse
Jonathan is currently riding for the U-LH DN2 team based in Limoges, France (ProCyclingStats). In just his second race there in March, he took part in the Vienne Classic, a 163 km event on the Coupe de France circuit.
He has since returned to Canada for a training camp with the Canadian track cycling team and will represent Canada at the Pan American Track Cycling Championships in Paraguay from April 1 to 6. After that, he’ll rejoin his U-LH team in France to continue the road season.
Maxime Corbeil
Maxime is part of the Canadian U20 national ski mountaineering team (SkimoStats). In early March, he competed in the Elite World Championships in Switzerland, finishing 8th in the vertical race and 10th in the individual event.
He followed that with a 15th-place finish in the vertical race at the U20 World Championships in France (March 26–30). He’s now preparing for the World Cup in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland, on April 4 and 5 with the Elite field. No wonder he climbs so well on the bike too!
Clovis Sanscartier
Clovis recently joined his teammates from X-Speed United Continental, a Continental team based in Belgium, as a stagiaire (ProCyclingStats).
He raced his first event of the season on March 23 in Slovenia (156 km), followed by the GP Brda-Collio and Slovenia VN Adria Mobil.
Having spent the winter training in Quebec, he wasn’t fully race-ready for such long distances (150–169 km), but it’s just a matter of time before he hits his stride.
Noah Pulcina
Noah is now racing in France with the DN3 team BMC Béziers (ProCyclingStats). He arrived in January and began building mileage before lining up for his first race, the GP de Manuel, on February 9—where he cracked the top 10.
He’s since competed in La Boucle du Haut Var (three stages) and the GP d’Ouverture Pierre Pinel. A well-rounded and intense rider, Noah always gives it his all—and surely adds a great vibe to his team.
Gabriel Séguin
Gabriel has faced a series of setbacks since fall. Initially recruited by the DN1 team Côtes d’Armor-Marie Morin in France, the team shut down operations in November, leaving him without options as most teams were already full.
Determined to stay in France, he found a spot with DN3 Martigues Sport Cyclisme (Provence), but licensing issues and a difficult team integration prevented him from racing.
He’ll return to Quebec to begin the domestic season, well-trained and highly motivated. A former double Quebec champion (U17 and U19), Gabriel is sure to make his mark again.
Clovis Roy
This year, Clovis joins the Continental team EuroCyclingTrips–CCN (ProCyclingStats).
He’s the youngest rider on a team full of experienced racers passionate about the sport. His next event is the Vuelta Asturias in Spain (April 24–27), where he’ll line up alongside World Tour teams like UAE and Movistar, as well as Pro Tour teams like TotalEnergies and Euskaltel-Euskadi.
Clovis is also scheduled to race the Tour of Estonia (May 29–31) and Tour de Beauce (June 11–15). He’s currently preparing in southern France.
