Coming Back Strong: Reopening Fitness Centres and Trusting the Process
A year ago, we were deep in uncertainty, as the pandemic disrupted every aspect of our lives. The economy had paused, routines were altered, and for many, physical activity was put on hold.
At that time, I drew a parallel between the health crisis and athletic training: to reach a meaningful goal, you need a long-term vision. You need to respect the process, follow every step, and stay disciplined and motivated—just like in fitness training.
Now, after many months of collective effort, the finish line is in sight. Restrictions are easing, optimism is growing, and most importantly, fitness centres are reopening. This is a powerful milestone for anyone who understands the physical and mental benefits of moving regularly.
But just like the final stretch of any training program, this is not the time to let our guard down. A single outbreak in a facility could undo months of progress. And none of us want to go backwards.
That’s why at the Centre Multisports, we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all. And we need every member’s full cooperation in following safety measures, just as we’ve done together throughout the pandemic.
The return to the gym is a triumph. Let’s make it last. Together, let’s finish the process strong—with awareness and respect.
