Strong Showing for the South-West Region at the Quebec Games in Montreal!

This year’s Quebec Games marked a powerful revival for cycling in the South-West region, thanks to the contribution of the ZVP OPTO-RÉSEAU road and mountain bike development club. Of the 12 athletes competing across both disciplines, 7 came from the club and qualified in their regional finals, earning the opportunity to take part in and experience the Games!

All performed admirably and rose to the challenge, despite limited competition experience. Facing the unknown the way they did required courage and determination. Through their qualities, talent, and discipline, this group of athletes has shown great promise. Their pursuit of excellence bodes well for the next Games, to be held in Thetford Mines in 2018. We’ll be ready!
