Gilles Besner has been passionate about cycling his entire life. As a former racer, he competed from Minime to Senior categories, earning podiums at both provincial and national championships, on the road and on the track. His personal journey as an athlete gives him unique insight into the discipline and drive required to succeed.
After retiring from competition, Gilles turned his attention to youth development through the Club Rayon Alpha in Coteau-du-Lac. He also organized numerous sporting events, including bike races, duathlons and cross-country ski events, contributing to the growth of the cycling community in his region.
Building on all this experience, Gilles founded Club ALLIANCE with a clear mission: to create a supportive and structured environment where cyclists of all levels can thrive. For him, helping athletes grow means giving them the tools, guidance and motivation to stay active—not just for a season, but for life.
