Coaching, Discipline and Passion for Cycling

With over 20 years of experience in the cycling world, Michel Brazeau is a respected figure in Québec’s competitive cycling scene. A former Canadian Masters Time Trial Champion (2006), he has earned multiple podiums in road races, criteriums and time trials. His extensive background on the bike, paired with his strategic thinking, makes him an exceptional coach and mentor.

Michel has been coaching at the club since 2016 and became head coach in 2017. He holds a Level 1 NCCP certification and is known for his race-day tactics and structured approach to training. His strategic insight and clear communication help cyclists maximize their potential and build confidence on and off the road.

An engineer by trade, Michel also created the Bike Studio indoor training program, blending his technical and athletic expertise. He’s part of the coaching staff for the Sport-Études cycling program, where he plays a key role in developing young athletes.

Above all, Michel is a motivator. He believes in discipline, passion, and long-term commitment as the foundation for lasting athletic growth.
