Do you have a passion for climbing and want to develop your skills as a climber and belayer? We offer small-group training courses to teach you how to be an autonomous lead climber and top rope climber. Each course allows you to deepen your knowledge according to the latest standards. Each instructor follows FQME (Fédération Québécoise de la Montagne et de l’Escalade) standards, so you can enjoy climbing in complete safety.

Belay Line Accreditation

Learn the basics of belaying. During this 3-hour course, you’ll learn to tie a double figure-eight knot, use 2 common belay tools (gri-gri and brake tube), use a harness correctly, and learn the 5 steps to belaying safely. An essential beginner’s course that will enable you to belay independently at any facility in Quebec.

Ages 14 +

 

Autonomous Belaying.

Learn the basics of top rope belaying. Explore the do’s and don’ts for a safe climbing experience. Personalized small-group course. Belay line accreditation required.

Minimum climbing level 5.9. For intermediate or advanced climbers.

Ages 16 +
